This is YAML code for use in Home Assistant to save you time. You can use it to play an announcement across Sonos and Alexa media players. For example, "Dinner is ready!" This includes both the YAML code for the script, and the YAML code for adding it to your Home Assistant dashboard. See the images for what to expect, and watch this video for how to use it.

INSTALL 

After purchasing, follow these steps to use the YAML code in just 1 minute: 

  1. In Home Assistant, go to Settings > Automations & scenes > Scripts > Add Script > Create New Script.
  2. Click the three dots in the upper right > select Edit in YAML > paste the Script YAML code in the zip file.
  3. Edit the entity names to match the actual names of your media_player entities.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Copy and paste the Dashboard YAML code in the zip file to your dashboard.
