This is YAML code for use in Home Assistant to save you time. You can use it to send a push notification to phones with an LLM description when a person is detected at front door doorbell camera. This includes the YAML code for the automation. See the images for what to expect, and watch this video for how to use it.

This is dependent on adding the LLM Vision HACS integration along with a cloud or self-hosted Gen AI model to Home Assistant, as explained in the video.

INSTALL 

After purchasing, follow these steps to use the YAML code in just 1 minute: 

  1. In Home Assistant, go to Settings > Automations & scenes > Automations > Create Automation > Create New Automation.
  2. Click the three dots in the upper right > select Edit in YAML > paste the YAML code in the zip file.
  3. Edit the entity names to match the actual names of your Home Assistant entities.
  4. Click Save.

REMEMBER

If you import this YAML code, edit for your entities, and click "Run action" simply to test the automation, you may receive the message: "Error rendering data template: UndefinedError: 'response' is undefined." However, this is expected. Naturally triggering the automation (e.g., motion detection) works just fine.
